This 10-week course will inspire your self to experience the fundamental elements of Yoga. Yoga means union by cultivating a well balance in the physical, mental, emotional and the breath. This integration is accomplished easily by practicing the 8 limbs of Yoga. Everyone has to re-adjust his/her own habitual pattern for this equilibrium that will reflect his/her vibrant body with vital energy altogether with a clear mind. This course will give a unique opportunity for everyone to learn about the basics of Yoga that will change the view of life.
Every class integrates many yogic themes that fuse with dynamic vinyāsa sequences accompanied by clear alignment principles, different āsana and prāṇāyāma, including meditation and relaxation techniques. The classes are focused to experience various subjects that embrace important yogic philosophies with the findings of modern science. It will be enough time for “questions and answers” at the end of class with some homework that could encourage the participants to integrate the practice in their daily life.
This prevention course can be subsidized by German statutory health insurance funds in accordance with §20 SGB V. The statutory health insurance companies reward the participation in our course and refund – depending on the health insurance – up to 80% of the course fees. Upon receipt of the registration confirmation, the participant first pays the full course fee. At the end of the course, the participant will be refunded the amount by submitting a confirmation of participation to their respective health insurance.
Yogamunīśvaradāsa grew up in a yogic family from South India and is practicing yoga since the age of 7 in the Tamil saiva siddhāntic tradition. Through the experience of western lifestyle, he realized the importance of yoga and mindfulness training for a balanced, healthy and sustainable life in a modern world and started exploring the diversity of yogic philosophy as a holistic approach of life. He combines the essence of siddhayoga knowledge from his father with kuṇḍalinīyoga with mindfulness, awareness and meditation techniques. Additionally, he became a registered member of the Berufsverband der Yogalehrenden Deutschland (BDY) and the European Yoga Union (EYU) under the guidance of yogācārya Ananda Leone. Through his involvement in yoga, he has realized that different yoga practices suit different people and began his exploration with acceptance, curiosity and joy. He is known for his sense of humor and dynamic teaching style with the ability to present ancient wisdom of saiva siddhānta in a fresh and accessible manner.
