I often forget to breathe. And when I take the time for it, I suddenly feel home. This is one hour in which we can remind one another to breathe. Fully, softly, slowly, effortlessly, without wanting to change anything or to be better. Breath is the bridge between action and imagination, thinking/speaking and moving, receiving the world and responding to it, and as such it should receive our most generous attention. We will work with different ways of breathing, in stillness or in movement, directing our whole-body attention to its subtle waves.
Alessio is a dancer, voice & movement teacher, choreographer, sound designer and dreamer. He sees full-breathing as a joyful life-long practice of letting go of control and of self-acceptance.
