Carrie dove into yoga in 1998 and never looked back. Since becoming a teacher in 2008, she has been motivated to share yoga as a tool to help people strip away layers of baggage and societal conditioning in order to discover their unique potential for self expression, happiness and compassion. At the same time she is keen to share the practical benefits of the practice, and to show how yoga can bring anyone, on a day to day basis, more strength, energy, and health in the body and more peace and self-awareness in the mind. Whatever your personal goals, Carrie loves to help you along on your journey, one breath, one asana, one class at a time.

Carrie’s classes focus on linking breath and movement in a dynamic vinyasa flow style that is meanwhile grounded in practical alignment cues to help students find the safest and truest expression of any given asana appropriate to their ability. A refugee of the music business, she finds inspiration in all kinds of music, enhancing her classes with an eclectic soundtrack that ranges from ambient electronica to Hindu chants to rock ‘n’ roll.
