Join yellow yoga teachers Anya and Liina in the beautiful Tuscan countryside for a week of yoga, relaxation, delicious food, and good company.
1. About the house
The retreat will take place between the green hills of Tuscany. Capanno, a rustic farm dating back into the early 1800s, is set against a stunning backdrop of Tuscany’s trademark soft green hills. The landscape offers plenty of nature to explore and experience: there are trails for hiking, meadows for soaking up the sun, a natural pool in the river for swimming and an impressive waterfall to marvel at. It is located an hour away from Florence and a 15 minute jeep-ride from the neighbouring village Dama.
2. How to get there
An eco-friendly option is to travel with overnight train to Florence/Arezzo.The cheapest way to fly would with Ryanair:

For these two flights we might be able to organise shuttle busses (about 400€ each way/ max. 8 people/ 2,5h/ not guaranteed to have places for everybody). Additionally AirBerlin and Vueling have flights to Florence, while Easyjet, Ryanair and Germanwings take you to Pisa. We can organize a detailed description about how to get from Pisa, Bologna, Florence or Arezzo to Dama via public transport, if needed.
3. What does the price include?
– 2 daily yoga classes open for all levels. Classes are taught in English.
– A daily pranayama and/or a daily mediation practice.
– Yoga theory and philosophy.
– Surprise workshops or events.
– The option of massage treatments with Liina or private meditation sessions with Anya (to be paid additionally).
– Campfires in the evening.
– The experience of a silence day.
– A pizza night – we will heat up the ancient pizza-oven for you.
– Two awesome cooks will take care for your culinary happiness – morning snack, rich brunch, three-course dinner – all vegan.
– Unlimited drinking water, herbal teas and fresh fruit.
– In addition to yoga, there will be time to enjoy relaxing walks, stunning nature, swimming, little hikes and excursions in the nearby surroundings.

We are in the retreat for 7 nights and 8 days (schedule starts on the first day in the evening and ends on the last day in the morning) with a small group of max. 13 participants.
4. Please note
We just have to “warn” you that the houses we sleep in are very basic, so don’t expect a luxury hut, but it’s very charming. There is only one indoor bathroom, but an outside shower with a marvelous view, a very intelligently developed outdoor toilet and a waterfall 10 min away in the woods. We also have to be very careful with water so just a quick shower for everyone everyday ….Yogis will have to share doubles or cottages for up to three people and some of the rooms have to be passed to get to another. We will be all very respectful to guard each others privacy and there’s enough space to find solitude in the surrounding nature. We would ask each of you to help us by taking on some shifts preparing the food (cutting vegetables), cleaning the dishes after the meal or carrying water for the toilet from the pond. Karma yoga can be fun too! We will try our best to cook an alternative for every meal, if somebody brings any allergies. Feel free to pay some extra money to cover the extra cost for this special diet.
5. Reservation and Payments
The retreat is a non-profit service by yellow yoga:
150€ – shared accommodation for 7 nights in one of the cottages (double bedrooms, 1 house with 3 beds)
150€ – delicious vegan food for 8 days (morning snack – rich warm&cold brunch- 3-course dinner with salad and dessert)
250€ – yoga & organisation (payments and travel-costs of 5 team members, office work)
100€ – 19% VAT tax/ Mwst. (to the German government)
The total fee of 650€ can be paid via bank transfer in three installments.
