Unfortunately we had to cancel this retreat, but we go to Capanno in September again.
Please find more infos here.
Cultivate compassion. For yourself. For others.
Compassion starts with unconditional friendship with oneself. Sometimes we disapprove or denigrate ourselves. What if we instead began relating to ourselves with friendship, kindness, and compassion? During the retreat we will take time to get intimate, and to relax with ourselves, letting go of perfection, feeling at home with our own mind and in our own body. Finding rest within oneself is the seed of well being, clarity and joy!
2. About the house
The retreats will take place between the green hills of Tuscany. Capanno, a rustic farm dating back into the early 1800s, is set against a stunning backdrop of Tuscany’s trademark soft green hills. The landscape offers plenty of nature to explore and experience: there are trails for hiking, meadows for soaking up the sun, a natural pool in the river for swimming and an impressive waterfall to marvel at. It is located an hour away from Florence and a 15 minute jeep-ride from the neighbor village Dama. Find here the website of the place and a map where we are going. Its really beautiful: www.capanno.de.

5. How to get there
The retreat takes place from Friday, June 6 until Saturday, June 14. We organised overnight train tickets leaving Berlin in the afternoon on Thursday, June 5 for 130€. We recommend this way of traveling for environmental reasons.
Unfortunately, this cheap rate was not available anymore for the last day (Saturday). There is the option to stay in Capanno two days longer until Monday, June 16 with us together (without yoga and cook, we share all cost and the accommodation is ~15€ per night depending on the number of people staying) and to take the return tickets for 130€ for the overnight train arriving in Berlin on Tuesday afternoon, June 17. Let us know if you would like one of those tickets and if you would like to stay these two extra days. The other option would be to take the train on Saturday night for a higher rate or search for a flight. You can find the actual price for the Europa Spezial offer from Deutsche Bahn here (Firenze, Italien – Berlin, June 14). Another nice idea might be to stay two nights in beautiful Florence.
Now some details about the train trip: The train leaves at Berlin main station in the afternoon of the previous day. You will go to Munich and take the night train at around 21.00 which arrives in Florence at 6.00 the following morning. From there you will take a train to Bibienna, Arezzo and a bus to Dama, where we will pick you up with the jeep. When you arrive there will be a delicious brunch waiting for you.
The train back to Berlin leaves the last day at around 22.00 in Florence and arrives in Munich at 7.00 and Berlin at around 14.00. You are free to spend the afternoon in Florence if you like to. Train tickets are refundable, so you can reserve now the ticket but you can still decide up to one week in advance how to travel.
If you choose to fly, Airberlin and Vueling has flights to Florence, while Easyjet and Germanwings take you to Pisa. Search here for flights to these two airports: www.kayak.de.
For the group of people arriving by train we will organize a detailed description about how to get from Florenze to Dama via public transport.
6. Please note:
We just have to “warn” you that the houses we sleep in are very basic, so don´t expect a luxury hut, but it’s very charming. There is only one indoor bathroom, but an outside shower with a marvellous view, a very intelligently developed outdoor toilet and a waterfall 10 min away in the woods. We also have to be very careful with water so just a quick shower for everyone everyday ….Yogis will have to share doubles and some of the rooms have to be passed to get to another. We will be all very respectful to guard each others privacy and there’s enough space to find loneliness in the surrounding nature. We would ask each of you to help us some shifts preparing the food (cutting vegetables) and cleaning the dishes after the meal or to carry some water for the toilet from the pond. Karma yoga can be fun, too!We will try our best to cook vegan and gluten free alternative for every meal. Feel free to pay some extra money to cover the extra cost for this special diet.
7. Reservation and Payments
The fee is 600€ (incl. 19% VAT) and can be paid via bank transfer in three installments:
1st installment (100€) immediately to confirm your place
2nd installment (200€) by May 15
3rd installment (300€) on arrival for accommodation and food
Please note: yellow yoga is a non-profit project and we do our best to offer the lowest price possible and we rely on the commitment of all participants. Reserving your space is binding and the pre-payment cannot be refunded in case of non-participation. If you need to cancel you have the option to organize another yogi who takes your place.
To make a reservation please send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
