In this Body-Mind Centering® morning intensive we will move, breath, rest, explore and dance. We’ll explore structures of the body and their possibilities for movement. Through anatomical ideas, movement, perception and touch we will place our awareness into different body systems and use the information for joyous free movement.
The ‘Fluid Flow’ 1-week-Body-Mind Centering® morning intensive will focus on the fluids of our body. The fluids are largely made up of water that changes properties and characteristics as it passes through different membranes, flows through different channels, and interacts with different substances. We are moved by a fluid dynamic flow, spirals, pulsation, streaming and rhythm. All body tissues are nurtured and connected through fluid. We all know the great feeling of being carried by water and moving effortlessly. Fluids support flow, ease and rest in movement. They underlie presence and transformation, tension and relaxation, rest and action. The embodiment of the fluids invites freedom, power, letting go and suppleness in movement.
You are very welcome to join with curiosity for finest awareness, sensation and perception of your body.
Nina works as a dancer and teaches Vinyasa Yoga, Body-Mind Centering® and Contact Improvisation in classes, workshops, retreats and festivals around Europe as well as at dance schools.
