In his childhood, Benjamin loved romping around, dancing, singing… being creative in nature. With great joy in playing, moving, discovering, and creating, he has since been exploring and researching his inner and outer worlds. Especially in nature, he finds a healing space that offers balance and clarity, connection, vitality, and freedom. These qualities flow into his yoga and movement as well as mindfulness practice in the Plum Village tradition.

Benjamin began his personal yoga journey in 2015 and has been practicing yoga with young people since 2017. His teaching style is playful, participatory, and inclusive: with lots of heart, humor, and enthusiasm for shared practice, he invites children and adolescents to bring their curiosity, creativity, and uniqueness – along with their needs, feelings, ideas, and questions – into the experience, helping to co-create a sense of community.

Benjamin is a certified yoga teacher for children and adolescents, a Thai children’s yoga teacher, and a Yoga Nidra coach for children and adolescents. He has completed over 500 hours of additional training, focusing particularly on inclusion, trauma, and yoga therapy for children and adolescents. In 2025, he completed his 200-hour Hatha Yoga of Rishiculture Teacher Training for adults. Benjamin is fascinated by sound, which is a faithful companion in his practice with people.

As an (specialist) educator (for integration), he has placed a special focus on participation and inclusion throughout his more than 25 years of professional experience in kindergartens, primary schools, and open child and youth work. He is passionate about making yoga, mindfulness, and experiences in nature easily accessible to everyone; therefore, he is involved as a board member at moment.mal e.V. – Soziale Yogaprojekte für Kinder, Berlin and works as a naturbegleiter at the Stiftung Naturschutz, Berlin.
