Diletta is a Berlin-based performer and movement educator. She started practicing yoga in 2016 while working for a choreographer in Rome and continued in Berlin, where she moved right after. Following a one-year program under the guidance of Detlev Alexander and Nancy Jovanovic, she received her Vinyasa Yoga certification in 2019. Her approach to creating classes is inspired by all the somatic practices she explored during her professional dance training, as well as collaborations with choreographers and colleagues she has worked with over the past decade. Looking for yet another source of inspiration, she decided to return to university and is now finishing her bachelor’s degree in Economics, focusing her thesis on sustainable urban development with a particular interest in identity and community building.

Diletta’s classes focus on creating a sustainable practice by including mobility and strength exercises with particular emphasis on transitions and guided explorations. She loves incorporating all types of props available in the studio and believes that a truly advanced practice is one where students feel empowered and encouraged to modify poses according to their own needs and desires. Through her classes, she hopes to create a space where students feel at home in their practice, allowing them to tune into both their strengths and limitations. With clear instructions and a focus on mindful movement, there are plenty of opportunities to explore, sink deeper into the body, and appreciate the progress and growth along the way. Her desire is that these insights will extend beyond the mat, helping students connect more fully with themselves in their everyday life.
