Valerie Hartwich is passionate about helping people experience more awareness, joy and agency in their lives using yoga and massage. This passion first brought her to study psychology, sociology and political science. After working in PR and events in Paris and Rio, she turned her childhood passion into a full time career by retraining as a massage therapist and a yoga teacher after practising for 10 years. This gave her a wider toolset with which to empower people, and give them access to deep release, ease, and greater awareness of themselves. She teaches restorative yoga to wind down body and mind, yin yoga to release joints and fascia of built up tension, or a slower flow to grow strength and flexibility with awareness. Having had to care for her father as he struggled with dementia, she faced head on the challenge of how to take yoga off the mat. At the heart of her teaching is the dedication to find simple and effective tools to deal with the challenges that can arise in life. Students can expect dialogue, fun, attention to personal issues, as well as plenty of simple tools to use in daily life. And last but not least a great deal of care and kindness.

Alles entsteht wie ein Tanz, von Form zu Form, welcher Muskulatur, besonders Tiefenmuskulatur aufbaut und verfeinert, Faszien elastisch hält und Spass macht. Wer die Balance zwischen Stärke und Flexibilität, und auch Grazie sucht, sollte dieser Stunde besuchen. Für alle Niveaus geeignet.

Eine langsamere dynamische Yoga Stunde im Vinyasa Stil für Anfänger, und die die ihre Yoga Praxis verfeinern wollen. Dieser Stil kombiniert achtsamem Fliessen und Asana Variationen. Ab und zu verweilen wir in Posen um sie tiefer wirken zu lassen, oder bringen kleinere Bewegungen ein um ganzheitlich Raum zu verschaffen. Alles entsteht wie ein Tanz welcher Muskulatur, besonders Tiefenmuskulatur aufbaut und verfeinert, Faszien elastisch hält und Spass macht. Perfekt um die Balance zwischen Stärke und Flexibilität zu entwickeln.

Fun, challenging and mindful thanks to a different way of moving from the ground on up and getting into poses, this is for those seeking a yoga that is spiritual and translatable into everyday life, and that explores the incredible abilities already present in their bodies. This class incorporates time for journalling, so bring pen and paper as yoga can give us great insight about ourselves.

restorative, yin and meditation – en
This class combines yin yoga with restorative yoga and Meditation. The poses are held in the seated or laying position using support to ease into the longer holds, which bring our muscles to relax, our fascia to stretch and the nervous system to unwind. Reaching this physical quiet allows our mind, our thoughts and emotions to have room to be heard, recharges our batteries by unburdening the nervous and lymphatic system, and helps us develop interoception, our sense of our inner state, which is a useful tool for preventing injuries and improving mental states.
