Anna has been practising yoga since 2004, although she was introduced to meditation and some Eastern philosophy by her parents as a child. Having practised many different styles, she then completed her teacher training with Noah McKenna in India in hatha yoga. She has also attended several specialised courses in pranayama, yoga philosophy and Sanskrit, reflecting her interest in the many aspects of yoga beyond asana. She was a student at yellow yoga herself for many years and it is a great joy to her to be able to share the teachings with this community.

Anna’s classes are gentle and deep, playful and contemplative. She seeks to provide a balance between dynamic, challenging movement and more introspective, restful practices. For most poses, optional variations will be provided, so that everybody feels autonomous and supported in their practice whatever their experience and ability. The class will also usually include pranayama, self-inquiry around a theme and meditation.
